With another 50 entries in Wave 2 of the Killing Floor “Grindhouse” Mapping Contest, the quality has truly astounded us this time. The judging came down to the wire, with the top two maps being separated by the smallest possible amount.

Just to keep all the Killing Floor fans and Grindhouse Map Contest entrants in the loop, we are just into the final stages of judging Wave 1 of the contest. This means that the results will be announced very soon.

For all those mappers out there who want a shot at the $5,000 first prize in Wave 1 of Tripwire’s mapping contest for Killing Floor, the application page is now open for map submissions, with the deadline for entries fast approaching (12 Noon EST, 31 st July). We have teamed up with the crew at ModDB ( www.moddb.com ), who are hosting all the maps for us, providing a central location for the fans to check out all of the contest maps
